As a certified End-of-Life Pet Doula, I support pet parents as they prepare for their pet’s passing, understand the end-of-life process, and feel supported through grief. My work is centered on honoring the life of your animal companion in intentional and meaningful ways, before and after death.

I offer trauma-informed, judgment-free care for pet end-of-life and pet loss. My role is to support you emotionally, spiritually, and practically, bringing calm, structure, and compassionate companionship during one of the most profound experiences of loving an animal.

Kind Words for the Lives We’ve Touched

“Marisa has been such a wonderful part of our pets’ lives. From the very beginning, our dogs and cat took to her instantly — they absolutely love her, and it’s easy to see why. She cares for them with so much love, patience, and attention to detail, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing they’re in her hands. What really stands out is how thoughtful and proactive she is. Marisa always shares helpful tips and recommendations for how we can better care for our pets, and we truly appreciate her insight and dedication. She goes above and beyond every single time. “

“Marisa was a wonderful and caring companion for our dog, Rufus, later in his life. She often cared for him while we were out of town and we could tell he was so well taken care of. He had some medication and other considerations as an older animal and Marisa was always so attentive to his needs. Shortly before his death, she visited him and we were so moved and honored that she made time to say goodbye to him. I would recommend Marisa as a caregiver for pets of all ages.”

– Kyle D.

“Marisa assisted my 91-year-old mother the past few years in West Seattle. We as family were very impressed with Marisa’s communication on my mom’s care and needs. My mother was quite fond of Marisa. Marisa has a pleasant demeanor that is balanced perfectly by her sense of dedication to her job. She is an extremely knowledgeable
caregiver who has been able to offer my mother the very best in care. Marisa was very reliable and dedicated to my mom. She also offered end of life doula care. She was with my mom until her death.”
